About: Arbutus Point Campground is located just a short walk from the Saturna Island ferry terminal. BC Ferry service runs from Victoria on Vancouver Island, and from Vancouver on the mainland. About: Gulf Islands National Park Reserve, established in 2003, safeguards a number of islands, islets and reefs in the Southern Gulf Islands. A large portion of Saturna Island is protected by the park reserve and here you will find a gateway to adverturous hiking, boating, kayaking, back country camping, wildlife viewing including first class land based whale-watching at East Point, breathtaking viewpoints including Mt. Warburton Pike (the highest peak in the park reserve) and spectaular shorelines to explore. Camping on Saturna: Located at the eastern end of Narvaez Bay Rd, Narvaez Bay Campground is a small and tranquil 7-site backcountry campground with picturesque views of the bay and nearby hiking trails. Ideal for cycle camper or kayakers. Parking available off Narvaez Bay Road. Follow a short (1.7km) trail to the self registration - first come, first serve campsites. Facilities are limited and pets must be on leash at all times. You must pack in and pack out and there are no fires allowed at any time. Visit the website for details and map.

About: SIRRA provides a forum for property owners and residents to discuss matters of common interest on issues of legislation, regulation, taxation and policies of governments and government services to Saturna Island. When you are visiting Saturna Island and do not have transportation, the Lion’s Community Shuttle Service can transport you by road anywhere on the island. Our volunteer drivers are knowledgeable about the island and can also be helpful with local and interesting information. When you come to Saturna with your own boat or walk on the ferry, the Saturna Shuttle Service can pick you up and transport you to and/or from your lodging, campsite, event, or where your activity is taking place. The Lions Club uses any donations to support important local community services. Jack was an honours graduate from the Vancouver School of Art, worked in graphic design, instructed for the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design Outreach Program, Kootenay School of Art, and David Thompson University before moving to Saturna Island in 1997. His love of landscape and the figure is shown in his work with a style uniquely his own. He loved art as a child and painted up to the last day of his life. His wife Carole makes his work available through the web, art exhibitions and the gallery.
